Charming location, great staff (everyone was quick and efficient even on a busy Friday evening) and the food tasted amazing. Big portions, everything was fresh, flavorful and delicious. We loved our pizzas (that roasted kale on top of my pizza?! Perfection!). I also especially enjoyed the baked eggplant - not so small plate. Such a unique combination and so tasty.

Enjoyable place that serves pizza, pasta and a bunch of other dishes and meals. In addition, the bar selection is great, the service is absolutely pleasant, the background music is tasteful too, therefore I'd say the nice times are guaranteed. Recommended.

Great service was friendly and attentive. cosy place with good atmosphere. pizza were great so many gluten-free options and the gluten-free pizza was delicious. Will definitely come again.

Delicious pizza! Great service, very fast. Lovely decoration but maybe not so good for a date cus the tables are very close to each other so everyone can hear everything

I can’t believe how long I waited to come here. I’ve heard nothing but great things in the 13 years I’ve lived in this neighborhood but just never dropped in....until last night. I was impressed but the whole experience- dining, service, and ambiance. We decided to eat on the patio, which is tucked away in the laneway out back. It has a really neighborhood feel which I enjoyed. We ordered 2 apps - the brussel sprouts and the fiesta salad. Both were excellent and just delicious. For the main, we share the pesto chicken pizza which was equally as delicious. It was thin crust with tons of toppings and had real chicken pieces. Prices are very reasonable as well! I thoroughly enjoyed everything and regret how long it took me to finally eat here.

We have eaten at Pizzeria Defina many times since they first opened but hadn’t for quite a while. We have always enjoyed the food, atmosphere and service. On our latest visit we found that it is as always; a great place for most any occasion. Family friendly; the room is lively yet quiet conversation is still possible. Most important, the food remains top notch and their selection of wine and beer will satisfy most tastes.
